GOOGLE V/S BING

Recently, Microsoft launched its new search engine BING similar to Google. So lets see how is it cooler than our older search engine.
1. MAIN SCREEN

As shown above there is Google main screen, it has simple white background. It has more advanced features for search and search is available in different languages also. On the top there is facility to connect directly to orkut-one of the largest used social networking site.

This is new kool BING main screen. It looks attractive due to wallpaper at its background which keeps on changing daily. Though it has no more options for the search, it has special section for video search.

2. SEARCH RESULTS

As it is said "OLD IS GOLD", here it is true for Google, if you need more search results u can get in Google, but bing isn't that much back, it has just came so you have to wait a little, it will soon compete with GOOGLE, after all "NEW IS KOOL".

3. IMAGE RESULTS

If Google can give you more search results Bing can offer you with more options. As seen above in the left pane, you can select your preferences and get the desired result, while Google too has such options but, they are less compared to this, so that makes BING more kool.

4. ADDITIONAL FEATURES

Google is having many extra features,but here i will talk about just one i.e iGoogle. As you can see in the above screen, iGoogle is the part of google offered to those who posses google accounts, you can manage that whole screen and get lots of stuffs opened like, match scores, your mails, news, quotes, etc…. Moreover, it has artistic background, which can be changed.

Talking about Bing, it has come up with a kool feature of video search. And moreover, you can play the video itself as it is seen i.e. Just move your arrow to the video you would like to watch, and it starts playing(..kool na)

5. ADULT SEARCH

Well, if you are a XXX lover, dont ever try to search on Bing, yes you won’t get easy results, which Google allows you with lots of results. Consider it as a drawback or advantage, its up to you. “Adult”, “porn”, “sex”, etc… these words in Bing will get you only one result “CHANGE YOUR SEARCH TERMS”(????).

CONCLUSION:

If you are Google user, try Bing at least once, and tell me which one is more Kool, i bet you will surely say Bing. But Google is also not bad, after all it is ruling the search world. I hope Microsoft will have to make some more changes to overtake Google.
